Hi, my name is Lyudmila, often called Mila as it’s shorter and easier to remember. I’m pleased for the opportunity to be part of a wonderful and dedicated team!
I’m a certified Personal Support Worker, studied at Cambrian College in Sudbury, ON and graduated in 2006 from a one year program. I never forget those times in school; as they have been quite challenging and rewarding at the same time! From my first day of clinical practice at Long Term Care, I knew and felt that it is something I was called to do. There was no confusion or regret, only a big determination to learn and pursue my skills and knowledge. For fifteen years I dedicated my life to my patients and residents, working in a variety of settings, through my journey of life.
I am so grateful for everything and everyone that God has encountered me as it’s helped me to grow and become a compassionate and accountable person.
Presently I’m retired from VON, Palliative Care Program, where I worked for the past five years. However, it did not take long to realize that there is so much that I am missing being a part of what I’ve been doing!
That’s why I am here today, and hoping to make some difference in the lives of people by sharing with them my time of inspiration and love!
