Parkinson’s Disease A disorder of the brain that leads to shaking and tremors and difficulty with walking, movement & coordination. Driving, meal preparation, companionship. Assist in many of the other Activities of Independent Daily Living.
Diabetes A chronic illness where blood sugar levels are impacted. Planning & preparation of healthy balanced meals. Assistance and encouragement with exercise & physical activities and medication reminders.
Arthritis Joint inflammation and other symptoms. There are many different kinds of arthritis. Meal preparation, lid removal, driving & companionship.
Depression Extreme sadness, tiredness, mood swings, frustration, social isolation. Companionship, medication reminders, socialization & encouragement.

Hearing Impairment Partial or complete deafness Companionship, driving, hearing aid battery changes.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Long term lung disease
